Baseball

I feel as though I should be putting in an update about the Democratic Primaries or issuing another jab at Sheriff Joe, but I'm in a pretty good mood today. My friend Jillian just asked if I'd join her class on a field trip to a Diamondbacks game. I think I'll do it. I really like baseball.

As for my two cents on the primaries, well, I'm sick of them. The Democrats are acting like tired three-year-olds. I'm going to prescribe a nap and maybe some cookies for them.

Brandon Webb, our pitcher, got two more RBIs last night. It could be a fluke, but between he and Micah Owings (who's batting .308!), the Diamondbacks could be starting a new trend. Pitchers that don't suck at batting. That would be quite a development. If it really got some momentum going, shoot, maybe the cowardly little American League would do away with their stupid designated hitter rule. I wonder how many DHs are batting .308.
