It Smells Good in Here
Even though there are three dudes living in here, it smells great. Aaron, Nick, and I just finished putting our tree up. We got it at Warner's Nursery for 30 bucks -- what a deal, right?
I started stringing the lights up on it, but we don't have quite enough; in fact, even if I had made it to the top of the tree, it looks kinda like it's tied up right now, so I'll have to go get a couple more strands and sorta zigzag them around a bit.
We're not in the mood to spend a bunch of money on ornaments, and I don't want to fuel the holiday consumerism any more than I already do, so I think maybe we'll put some candy canes up on it or something.
Oh, and pretty soon, I'll dump a bunch of Legos out on the floor in front of it*, in case any of you need to come by and have a cup of hot chocolate and unwind. Tomorrow's pretty much the last day I'll have to do anything significant for student teaching, so I'll be in top relaxation form.
*Roommates permitting

I have an idea. Maybe you could make it a rule that every visitor you get has to make one ornament for the tree! That would be fun (invite me over).
You're in relaxation mode already? That's awesome. I've got two-and-half weeks left in my semester.
